‘Open letter’ 179 ACD-05-19, Bonaire Food Science Journal, vol. 9.

[‘… We all for sure remember that in 174 ACD, the wave of obesity on Bonaire was overwhelming. Its enormous scale took many of our citizens. Their deaths were unnecessary, to say the least. Because of this, we opened our scientific farming centers in 175 ACD.

We focused on non-meat production improved by natural energy and managed to create new farming methods that produced crops with the full range of elements needed for the human body.

Furthermore, we consciously switched our diets to affect our bodies’ metabolism process so we could live healthier and longer, without requiring meat and without the future risk of another hunger or obesity wave. We reached something called the golden middle. I was quite young then, yet I remember. The great success of science.

But now, just a few years later, where are we heading? The scientific group responsible for food processing methods faked their results again.

I say this openly.

The numbers do not match. They claim that regular obesity decreased from 1.9% to 0.3%. They are proud that their astonishing result, which consumed most of the science funds in 178 ACD, was a shocking decrease of 1.6%. Our main target was 1%; they could then say, ‘Mission accomplished.’ Money well spent; awards should be promptly distributed.

I looked at these numbers, and shockingly, it all is just fucking bullshit.

In those same papers, the same scientific group mentioned that severe obesity increased from 1.7% to 3.7%! What the fuck is going on? We cannot be proud of regular obesity falling while ignoring that SEVERE obesity increased.

I asked myself why, and I found it.

The main question was what people affected by both types of obesity ate, who provided them consultations, what their Ability level was, and what work they did for a living during the trial period.

The results were not surprising. Everyone in both groups followed the dietary program funded by public research.

This program was aimed at people working in natural energy fields. Apparently, dietitians suggested that all sugar should be banned. Because the sugar is the killer. Natural honey? Fruit? No, no. Don’t eat them. Drop all the sugar, and gluttony won’t impact your weight. Eat more sugar-free food, they said. Eat and eat so you don’t feel hunger.

Seriously, what kind of stupid logic is that? Has anyone ever seen a fat person who ate only pineapples?

These poor people affected by this ridiculous program now have to work harder to restore their health. We for sure must help them and apologize many times.

Maybe an additional note: personally, I would stop referring to dietitians as scientists. I leave this remark just to consider.

These dietitians slash pseudo-scientists we should convict for wasting public funds, misleading papers, faking data, and abusing trust in science. I suggest they rethink if they are even fit to work in this branch. Since they can tell nonsense for a living, they should choose to speak outside of science circles. Circus, entertainment maybe?

In conclusion, the scientific research group that was supposed to focus on nutritious food production and dietary advice is just fucked up.

Consider my letter as the intro to the future trial and conviction, thank you.’

179 ACD-5, official complaint noted as follows: scientist Tian Dienes (17 y) abused his position as the adopted brother of the Bonaire Leader, Fenix Dienes, to diminish and embarrass a scientific research group that was concentrated on nutritious food production.

Internal notes: in an open letter sent to a widely available scientific journal, scientist Dienes accused the team of mass fabricating misleading dietary publications and a diet program that deliberately caused an increase in obesity. This was intended to create the need for the dietitians’ science branch to rise. The scientific community, shocked, requested a total ban on scientist Dienes, based not on the facts but on the wordings that he used in his commentary.

Requests were dismissed.

After the investigation, the food production research group was convicted.
Scientist Tian Dienes awaits a decision about his future work direction. For the moment, he switched his focus to new emerging terraforming problems.
