171-180 ACD, Si’s private notes

[171 ACD-1-2] A note to understand how to talk to Taj and to avoid the mistakes Lukai makes. I observed the first ‘o’, ó, it is a rising tone. When he says his “o” like this, it becomes a question. The second one, high level, he uses when he acknowledges something; it is understood as confirming, neutral, and even positive; it is good when he says his “o” like this: ō.

[171 ACD-1-16] Third one. Sounds are falling-rising, used when at the same time asking a question and being surprised, also suggesting he knows the answer. It is not very positive, as he is disappointed. So, to be observed: ǒ.

[173 ACD-1-16] Fourth tone. Only now spotted: a falling, sharp tone. Taj is then very dissatisfied: ò. Side note, what Lukai did to trigger it, I must admit, is interesting.

[180 ACD-6-21] The fifth tone exists. I did not observe it myself, I need to add. Commander Song mentioned it when we talked privately; he added that this tone is special and definitely not to be heard by anyone but him. So, yes, definitely.
